This policy explains what personal information DayWin collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you use DayWin.io and our related services.

Information you provide

We collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication details, and support messages. We also store the workspace content you choose to add, including tasks, goals, habits, focus history, money records, preferences, notes, and file attachments.

Information collected automatically

We may collect basic device, browser, log, security, and usage information needed to operate, protect, and improve the service. Browser notification permissions remain controlled by your browser or operating system.

How we use information

We use information to provide and sync your workspace, authenticate accounts, deliver requested reminders, process support requests, secure the service, prevent abuse, understand product performance, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Cloud storage and service providers

Supabase provides authentication, database, and private file storage. Resend may deliver account and transactional email. When payments are enabled, our payment processor will handle payment credentials; DayWin does not store full card numbers. These providers process information only to deliver their services to us and are governed by their own privacy commitments.

Planning AI

AI features are optional. When you ask DayWin to organize or summarize something, only the context needed for that request is sent to the configured AI provider. AI does not silently change your priorities. Money data is not included unless a feature clearly requests it and you choose to use that feature.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential browser storage and similar technologies for sign-in, security, preferences, and app operation. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, we will provide any notice or consent controls required by applicable law.

Sharing and disclosure

We share information with service providers only as necessary to operate DayWin. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets with appropriate safeguards. We do not share personal information for third-party targeted advertising.

Retention and security

We retain account and workspace information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for operations, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. We use access controls, private storage, and row-level security designed to protect account data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can update account details, export a JSON backup, manage notifications, and request deletion by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children

DayWin is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.

International processing

Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised version here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when required.
